They didn't when I stayed there but that was probably 8-9 years ago. So maybe they do now.

Also it wasn't a hostel back then. Unless I was too stoned to realise

I was sharing a room with two others on that occasion.

I have stayed there by myself though.

Decent hotel apart from that incident.

Just don't leave any valuables in the room.

I used to stay there quite often. Until I had my passport and over 1000 euro stolen from my room. Person on reception claimed they'd given the key to someone else by mistake and the manager wanted to break the lock on the door to make it look like a break in before I reported the theft to the police...

Have a look at Easyjet flights. Should be able to get a return flight for £50-60.
