Casa di David is at 426 Singel which is close. There are 3 tables in the upstairs windows overlooking the canal with terrific views in both directions. Your wife will love it.

Grey Area is an interesting omission indeed - although on strength of their specialist menu alone they should probably have a nomination; I'm not going to champion it even though I am generally a fan of their products.
