Re: Het Ballonnetje
As promised I have returned with another shining review of Het Ballonnetje, this time around we tried the Tangie €13 and Girl Scout Cookies €14.50, both had exactly the flavors you would expect from a top level coffeeshop. Unlike most places in the center your not forced to pay 16 euro a gram for to...

Re: Where for best kapsalon?
Hehehehe, indeed Robert, although the unit is kJ and kcal, so that is close to one day's worth of kcal ( for an average sized woman) as there are approx. 4.2 kJ per kcal (international calories that is)... :) Still a fuckload of energy in one serving! :D Oh shit, yes you're right. Thanks for the wa...

Jazz Cafe Alto near Leidseplein Maloe Melo, short walk West from Leidseplein. Rock and blues, loud AF in that back room. Gollems Proeflokaal on Overtoom, jazz on Saturday evenings but get there way early. Waterhole, just off Leidseplein, mostly rock, afternoon happy hour for 3.50 pints 14:00-19:00....

Re: Best Coffeeshops And Current Strains in Dam?
Way to fooking go on the recommended places there SmokerAMS, if we had to pick only four shops outside the center to recommend, those would be it based on our last few trips, all among the very best in the city with respect to value for money. Het Ballonnetje and Baba would probably be tied for bes...

Re: a less lethal substitute for Tobacco in the UK?
The problem is with the synthetic alternatives is that they have not been tested for 30 years. I mean this generally in the sense of, its hard to tell if they are carcinogenic or harmful. Tobacco has been around for thousands of years, albeit smoked once or twice a year by Amazonian tribes at least ...

Re: Best Coffeeshops And Current Strains in Dam?
I wanted to pick this topic up again, as I'm interested to hear what your personal favorite strains are at the moment in Amsterdam. If you could recommend some hashes too that would be amazing! I'm looking forward to biking around Amsterdam myself and go on the hunt for the best strains. It's gonna...

Re: Airbnb denies that Dutch hosts ignore rules; study used "flawed methodology"
If someone has enough effort, a little bit of data mining and some time - it's not hard to track this even as an external company. Shame that the newspaper did not take more time to collate their own results and make a solid report based on some real data instead of assumptions. Amsterdam has a hous...

Re: Grey Area
I used to visit GA all the time when living in the area, their strains are simply exquisite and the staff welcoming and friendly. Although as many other people seem to have experienced the main barrier between you and those GA specials like Chemdawg, Moonshine and THE DOG is the size of the place an...
