kring= kring(short k)

Lol that makes no sense at all, why would we pronounce an A (as in dAmp) as an O? Dutch is crazy but we know our limits.

Reaaally expensive. I can't recommend taking a cab, really you shouldn't. There are a lot of traffic jams in Amsterdam, especially now since they are renovating the damrak. 'Bij ons in de Jordaan Zing je van hela hola hoeladiejee' is an old song written by the dutch singer Sjonnie Jordaan. It is one of the oldest parts of Amsterdam and it is the area that has the most "Amsterdam Vibe" in the city. Narrow streets, canals, bridges. it's the best part of the city.
