Re: What strain for insane giggles?
Never bought into the Indica/Sativa thing , so happy to see it debunked . Personally found that ' effect' is down to frame of mind at time of use . I speak from 40 odd years of use . The science is interesting but I'll leave that to those happy to immerse themselves in it all . I find that any menu ...

Re: Boerejongens West
Any poster telling another to ' mind their tone ' is deserving of the scorn and ridicule heaped their way . In this instance, its another pompous , arrogant know all , talking out of their arse .
Too funny . Carry on .

Re: Boerejongens West
Its not bud rot but possibly surface mildew . Ive experienced it a couple of times over the course of years of purchases from coffeeshops . Never from Boerejongens , I hasten to add . Their failing is the occasional bad flush but in fairness , that happens from most places .

Hey Prof Harvest . Any chance that you could give some insight into what binding substance is used in your bloc product ? This remains a topic of contention in certain circles . Cheers .

Re: La Tertulia
T'will be a sad, sad day when Tertulia is no more. What have I missed? Are they planning on closing? I hope not, I love to recline in the afternoon there 8) There had been whispers over the last year or so that they were looking to sell up . Ive yet to find anyone to substantiate the rumour...

Re: La Tertulia
On the plus side , those old red chairs do have an amount of 'give' in the back of them, so a modicum of recline is possible. A pleasant rarity for a coffeeshop . No points scored for aesthetic , obviously . T'will be a sad, sad day when Tertulia is no more .

Small and pokey place . Always a young ( and I mean young ) North African crowd when ive popped in . Maxwell Zachs , as a name , isn't very North African . Sadly, it happens . Just saying .

Re: Boerejongens
Unless someone can prove conclusively to the contrary , that the cut in Bloc Hashish isn't a very unpleasant adulterant , then I wont be shopping for it again . Ive recently finished off several grams of AM and Choco that found their way home . Conclusions : Both fairly potent , tolerance does soon ...

Didn't notice , when I was in Rusland , that I was sat under the gaze of the corrupt ,quasi fascist Putin . Irony or otherwise , not the greatest wall hanging .

Re: Coffeeshops
I'm interested in names of the coffeeshops that do this, just to add them to my blacklist... Sadly , its become fairly common practice . Off the top of my head : Rusland , Basjoe ,Old Church( Amstel ),Goa, Old Amsterdam ,Greenhouse Namaste , Hunters . I'm sure there are probably more . With the exc...

Re: Boerejongens
Ive tried all the ' blocs' on their menu except the two expensive Tangies . Enjoyed them all, particularly the AM . However , they're cut . With what , im uncertain . But there is a very unnatural ' oiliness ' about them .

If anyone thinks this shop doesn't have top notch stuff, try the iso :D Yeah . At 35E a gram! Like many others , im not prepared to indulge such outright greed . Maybe coffeeshops should start handing out individual sachets of lube for those up for a fucking ? Personally I don't believe €35 to be t...
