Panog wrote:About one month to grow (at least for mexican)

I am in the Dam for six weeks so thought I would purchase a grow kit. Truffles in my experience are in no way on the same level as mushrooms. Have researched these kits a bit...some species seem to produce an edible product in three weeks.

Re: Homegrown Fantasy

I have been a bit out of the loop for the past year. Last I heard HGF has lost it lease and would have to close. Has this situation changed? I hope this is not the case, love to visit this shop, great daytime stop with the outdoor seating. Alles goed. They did have a scare in 2009 but have since wo...

Re: Rokerij

The Rokerji 1 is one of my favorite shops. OK, the budtenders are indifferent but the weed is normally top notch. The Super Silver Haze is my all time favorite Sativa. I tend to visit during the day when it is not so crowded. Chill music and ambiance. Carefull on those low stools, have seen many man...

Re: Amsterdam April 1-May 12

My dates are 01 April-12 May. You have been posted on the April and May Whos In Town page. You can see who else may be in town during your stay. Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute. Or post one of your own. All I need is a date, time, and coffeeshop to post it. By default ...

Re: Hunters > Himalaya Cream and Malana Sweet Cream

I have not had either of these strains from Hunters. However on one of my visits the budtender recommended a dark hash. It was black, soft, and one of the best tasting hash's I have encountered in Amsterdam. I believe it was called Moohshine, very expensive but worth the price. The last time I had h...

Re: Mellow Yellow

I managed to finally visit Mellow Yellow last spring. I don't remember exactly what I had, most likely a Sativa as it was day time. The staff did their job and there was an open seat by the window. Should have been ideal to light one up but I just did not feel comfortable. No ones fault, perhaps I w...

Re: AMSTERDAMS BEST COFFEESHOP?

I personally wouldn't nother with Greenhouse or Barneys. Waaay too overpriced for the quality on offer. This may sound hypocritical to some buy my favorite is either Amnesia Haze or Chocolope from Hunters. Grey Area always seem to have top quality too! Get down to Albert Cuyp area (as mentioned abo...

Re: Hunters

I have frequented Hunters quite a bit over the years. The budtender has on occasion tried to upsell. It is a business and I never considered him rude for trying. He has always been polite and has never taken offense if I refuse the upsell. The man has steered me to some great hash over the years. On...

Hi marley01 I am booked for the month also, April 2nd - May 2nd, so we should be able to arrange a couple of T&Ts over the month...  8) I fit into the latter of the groups of 'fellow smokers', I'll be enduring my 60th b'day whilst in town. :D 8) Trad, Would very much like...

Re: Coffeeshops close to the Movenpick?

There is nothing close to the Movenpick except the Ferry Terminal! Voyager is a good shout as it is as close to being 'on the way' as you are going to get. The Movenpick single handedly put me off Priceline bidding for 4* hotels in the centrum area as it is such a pain to get to and from even by bi...
