Re: CANNABIS CUP 2012
Kosher Kush from Voyagers was the favorite of our group last year too. I think Greenhouse (or Barney's) wins to CS vote every year because these shops are "must goes" for most participants; plus they give out the most free stuff. The general coffeeshop vote seems to be a popularity contest...

Re: Tourist Coffeeshops in the Dam
The tourist shops with connoisseur grade weed don't have the cheapest prices. You need to leave AMS, or at least look for out of the way local places, if you want value. Then again, you are going to AMS to party like rock stars. To me, that means spending a little more to have access to the best AMS...

Re: coffeeshops w/ minimal tourist presence
This is Amsterdam; all shops will have some tourists coming in as people rent apartments and hotels all over the city. The more "locals" shops tend to be away from the center. A little on the edge is De Hulp. Nice shop, mainly with locals. Further out Katsu, another good shop frequented by...

Re: Amnesia
Love this place; always on my list of visits when in the dam. Great weed, great snacks, great service, great atmosphere.
Amnesia was even more fun than usual during the Cannabis Cup last year. They were passing around giant vapor bags of Cerez Hilton all night. Hella cool.

Re: Tolerance
Now I'm counting the hours until I get into the Dam on Sunday morning, and thinking of how sweet it'll be when I drop my suitcase at the hotel and go out for that first smoke... Fuck that. Greenhouse has nice wide doors. I've dragged my luggage straight there, passing our hotel (Renaissance) on the...

Re: are volcano vaporizers worth the money and switch
I have a lot of experience with various vapes, and can tell you that you usually get what you pay for. There are only 2 desktop vapes I really recommend to others now.
Volcano (S&B)
The Cloud (Vapexhale)
The Cloud is probably the top of the line, best vape you can get anywhere at the moment.

Re: Bringing a vapouriser on a plane
Bring a new Volcano ez-valve balloon with you, then no worries about sharing. Most places w/Volcano use the EZ-valve, though Barney's does use the Solid valve (they have plenty of alcohol wipes). You'll have a much better time enjoying the volcano, than sitting with a lighter-based vape IMO.

Re: Early Morning Coffeeshops
Barney's is pricey. It is the client they cater too, though. You are more likely to find professionals and older people hanging out here, not kids. Not much else to complain about. Their weed is very good and consistent, never scuffed for hash. The food (Uptown) is better than most CS. The staff is ...

Re: Best Weed/Isolator/BubbleHash/Jelly Hash Need Advice!!!!
Grey Area also has top notch herb, I agree with that. My favorites were: Chocoloupe and 4077 Medicinal Leaf. But its all good; highly consistent shop. They do have a Volcano too; its not all that bad to sit there in the afternoon either, provided it isn't a mad-packed day. My only complaint about GA...

Re: Rotterdam
Nemo is a solid CS, very nice. If you just want to pop in and out, I still like the Sensi store with their pre-sealed bags... not quite what Sensi used to be in the Dam many moons ago, but the stock is decent. I have no idea what time they open though.

Re: Best Weed/Isolator/BubbleHash/Jelly Hash Need Advice!!!!
Barney's has a Volcano at every table. Aside from being a very nice high-end coffeeshop, it is a vaporists heaven. Plus, they give you alcohol wipes to clean up your unit before use. Your own disinfected unit at your table. Does it get any better for a germ-a-phobe (that's my wife, I call it "g...

Re: Best Weed/Isolator/BubbleHash/Jelly Hash Need Advice!!!!
I tried to search the best of each through the forums but didn't find much luck as well as the fact that the weed/hash changes often so every week something new and amazing pops up. I am coming to the great land for my second time and wanted to know from people who have been there recently: Best We...
