I think all bad stories are a lesson to us all to propperly research and try and filter out genuine reviews and advice over those who most certainly work at or own certain places to falsly "up" there own shit-hole of a place into something thats it's not. For me if a place seems too cheap...

I tend to simply ask in any given bar I visit in Amsterdam what local brew they stock!. Not only does it tend to be cheaper the vast majority of the time. But it also gives me the chance to try something you'll almost certainly never get back home. So a win win situation really I feel. I rather like...

I've always wandered what it would be like to do a day drip!. Or even just 1 night come to think of it lol. If it was'nt for the cost of flying I'd be doing several day trips a year easy. My better half would never know I'd been there in the first place to lol. Anyway, hope the rest of your trip was...

Hay, I dont want to start a heated debate in any way. What I was getting at if flights were classed as public transport. This would be an indicater to the sort of crazy charges that would probably be brought into place for trains, coaches, busses etc (ok on a slightly lower scale but the thought rem...

Er, do flights count as public transport?. Is this what the government has been promoting we do for many years now using public transport!. Planes, buses, trains & coach etc I make no distinction between them. But it seems only with flights things are getting taxed and charged in every possable ...

Re: Cheap uk flights

nice one! i use easyjet from luton or stanstead, and i used to get under £50 flights all the time, but in recent months the best i can find iseems to be £65. and thats with no bags or insurance, which used to be included. i just prey that this trend of increasing fuel/trickets doesnt mean i have to...

Not just the time youd spend there for the love of it. But those 80's retro arcade sounds would really make you buzz like crazy after a couple of joints!.

I think that in Amsterdam and or Holland as a whole the smoking ban may cause unique issues of it's own. As if other parts of Holland are mirrored by Amsterdam, then many, many places will simply not have the space to make or errect a terrece on the front\rear of the premises. Sure in the UK it was ...

I remember a dealer friend of mine that was paranoid about phonecalls so we always had to use lame things like "got any brown/green tape?" in referance to them having any hash or weed, thank fuck those days are behind me. Our code word was sausages. Kind of like "the butchers have so...

I know I've been to NES about 2 or 3 times. But for some reason I cant recall what it was like as it certainly never stood out for me. Not saying the place is crap or easily forgettable. Just that it's 1 of those places you possably find back home than something different in Amsterdam I recall lol. ...

Sure sounds a great report upto now. A shame you seem to be spending quite a bit of time at your appartment. I was like that on my first ever trip to Amsterdam all those years ago lol. Then again I do get in a state sometimes where I feel like shit but simply know I cant make it back to the hotel so...

Another decent report there. Law or no law, looks like the coffeeshops may have identified a way to get around the ban on a kind of basis of unless they see a customer with ciggs or put tobacco in then there is no tobacco in the joints from what they can tell. Just my personel opinion on the matter ...
