Yes, these are still the best space cakes I've had in Amsterdam. I bought some in Baba and Hill Street Blues last year and they weren't half as strong.

Thanks for your good review and comments my friend. I will return to Amsterdam some day but right now Iam on with other things. There is I suspect more in my memory banks but I think I did a good job of recalling what I did. Since finishing my book things have come to mind but I feel I cant go back...

There was a bar at Nieumarket beside the canal where I sat and had a pint last time. Don't know if it was smoke friendly, but it's a nice area to chill all the same, so HSB sounds good

Hi, not a coffeeshop I know, but cafe Batavia is a great smoke friendly cafe/bar that I spend loads of time in every trip smoking away with a pint and watching the mass of tourists go to voyagers and grab their smoke. Definately worth checking out! Even better. Dutch...

I was thinking of walking down to Waterlooplein. I heard you can get all this here at a good price.
