Re: Most clean weed in Amsterdam

Read my trip reports. I've become a big fan of clean, bio, outdoor weed. I had a lot to say about them in both the strains section and in my May trip report. I even included pics of some really nice Frysian Dew, Northern Lights, and . . . something else I cannot recall. Below is a nice sample of dar...

Re: Trip VII - Travelogue I

Great report and great pics. I very much enjoy the plants that residents plant outside their homes. Some homes with wisteria vines and roses that have grown into vines are just amazing! Some of the biggest roses I've ever seen were outside a door on Kerkstraat! The blooms were as big as my hand with...

Re: layover LHR

I prefer LHR over Gatwick. I've never had issues at LHR. Fairly straight-forward to get around. The Brits aren't as efficient at people moving as the Germans, but they are pretty efficient. Now, if you were connecting at Barcelona, Detroit, or Atlanta ... maybe I would be concerned for you. But LHR ...

Re: Noordermarkt

OFD, on a Saturday, hit up Iberica on Harlemmerstraat, then amble over to the Markt for all sorts of delicious stuff. Say hi to the dude that helps operate La Tertulia ( he will b there selling geodes). Pick up a nice leather journal. Get some fresh squeezed fruit juice. Load up on cheese, bread, mu...

Noordermarkt

Did anyone hit up Noordermarkt today? I sure am missing that place today! https://s19.postimg.org/rg8bawl9r/IMG_0939.jpg After crepes, I'd love to load up on mushrooms, buy some bread and cheese, then head to a houseboat for evening mushroom saute while watching the tourists float by. https://s19.po...

Re: Boat rental tips?

The Ole Piss reference did provide a good laugh!

I was figuring that you simply stop along the urinals (every city should have these). There arent as many as I woyld like, though, so I was curious about what people do when nature calls.

Let's say you rent one of those electric boats for 3 hours. Where do you pee?

Re: SEP 22-28

I like a mix of tech and notebook myself. I collect old maps, so I naturally gravitate towards maps. I learn a city so well if i have a map in hand. Yet some tech is great, too. I can look up what is on an adjacent street to see if i should wander over. And w my phone, i can smoke and text w friends...
