Re: Will you still need weed , when your 64?
Minn, I had pondered a drive to Colorado. And I don't have to go through Nebraska. However, the ride is 1400 miles, so two days each way. I have pondered whether taking my dog with me makes me less of a target or more of a target, on the drive home.

Re: Will you still need weed , when your 64?
This thread does touch on an issue that i have been pondering. Where does an old guy buy pot when he lives in a prohibition state?

Re: Will you still need weed , when your 64?
The day that I am not looking forward to my next trip to Amsterdam to get high and drink beer will be the day that I really am searching for a reason to live. Getting high in Amsterdam is when I feel truly free.

Re: I fly free and so should you
Matty, you are exactly right. I don't know how many 60,000 mile seats delta reserves in Coach, but based on years of observation, there is only ONE 125,000 mile seat in business class, so you have to grab them. I frequently have two reservations pending at the same time since I go two or three times...

Re: After you are high what do you do?
Maybe I will look into a museum pass on my next trip in August. I have been to Ann Frank three times (once solo, once with my wife, and once with my mother). I have been to the Rijksmuseum once, and the Van Gogh Museum, but maybe it is time to revisit those, because it has been many years ago. Thank...

Re: I fly free and so should you
Willjay, fair question. And I am going to take this opportunity to illustrate as many points in my original post as I can. I certainly do not fly like a frequent business traveler. So I went to look at how many trips I paid for over the past year. And here is the result. August 29, 2015 Atlanta to D...

Re: I fly free and so should you
Minn, lol, you made me think of a funny story. I see a psychiatrist who is a product of my having gotten hit by a car while crossing a street in Budapest, Hungary on one of my adventures back in 2012 (that in turn led to two brain surgeries, fortunately not in Budapest). In any event, I have been se...

Re: After you are high what do you do?
Minn, here is my advice. Use google maps to draw walking maps between your hotel and coffeeshops, bars, restaurants, museums, smoking bars, and anything else you want to visit. Print them out and take them with you. I have been to Amsterdam about 12-15 times over the past five years, and February tr...

Re: I fly free and so should you
Matty, then you need more miles, The weed is waiting for you. I wanted to teach people that you don't have to actually fly to get frequent flier miles. And how to conserve your miles so that you can go more often. My buddy who can't figure out how to get the cheap seats is a million miler and he doe...

I fly free and so should you
And I fly in a lay flat seat; I enjoy a nice dinner at the beginning of the flight; then I sleep for the next six hours, arriving in Europe rested and ready to run. Delta charges 125,000 miles for that privilege. Most of my miles come from my Delta American Express Card. I use the card for everythin...

macky, Willjay, FlyByNite, notsofasteddie, worldcitizen1723, Thanks to all for responding. Special thanks to the older guys. You know, I have been watching my mother age, and have gradually been becoming more and more of a caretaker. I just got back from helping her with a doctor's visit and did her...

Old Guy Here
I have posted several times now asking sundry question focused on getting as high as possible. But maybe I should tell you about myself. My last trip to Amsterdam was this past February. My first trip to Amsterdam was ten years ago, with my wife, for my 50th birthday. Yes, I am 60 years old. After m...

After you are high what do you do?
I am retired and one of my favorite activities is to tour Europe. And one of my favorite places to visit is Amsterdam, which I visit at least twice a year. I have a buddy who is floundering in his new retirement. I have encouraged him to try my hobby. I just got back from a 16-day trip to Europe, se...
