Re: FIRST month-long EuroTrip experience starting in Amsterdam!! 30 August 2016

Three words: WAY TO GO!! :D That sounds like an awesome trip, we'll be glad to share some pointers on AMS (having also stayed there on a budget although it is a while ago). For inspiration: Copenhagen man! We may be biased (wink wink), but here are a few good arguments: Biggest open hash and weed ma...

Re: Yet another solo trip...

Hi Jana, Sorry to hear about your trip being fucked! If it is your last day we recommend Utopia which, although not the absolute best wrt quality and price is a very "Well rounded" shop that a little of everything: ok products, very good service (Ingi is our new favorite BT) and both indoo...

Re: Best bang for your buck coffeeshop?

Our pleasure! :) And we understand better now, in your case we bet that anything in the 8-12 € range from Boerjoegens, 1e Hulp, Easy Times, De Graal, Utopia, Green Place or Voyagers (pretty much in that order for us ;) ) will do you very nicely, and all these places have great service and will most ...

Re: The New Amsterdam Block Hash (Amsterdam Genetics)

LOL, just got to thinking that we might have been mistaken in thinking the Tangie Kosher block was a little overpriced (the only product from there that was we tried though), by these numbers it was underpriced by a factor of several hundred times!! ;) :P

Re: The New Amsterdam Block Hash (Amsterdam Genetics)

Our thoughts exactly people, had to call shenanigans on that one… ;) A little weird that they would put that on paper if it wasn’t a misquote or something, it seems that they (at least also) are trying to target a group of customers who they know to be better informed than that.

Re: The New Amsterdam Block Hash (Amsterdam Genetics)

 that would be less than 1% return... that can´t be true. Like said before maybe a mistake or a stupid promotion for their bloc hashes. I mean I liked many of that bloc hashes but I think they try to hype it a little bit... If they really need 100 - 150g of flower for 1g of the bloc hashes tha...

Re: The New Amsterdam Block Hash (Amsterdam Genetics)

Big, big fans of Boerejoegens and their block line (new schol in general, but Boer isthe champ), but this soudns a little fishy to us!

100 to 150 grams of dried flower? That seems a little rich...

Re: My August Trip is Underway

Dang twinkles, that is some detailed (and for some probably very helpful) reporting! :D We both cut our teeth packing for mountain hiking as well (Mrs. CC in Sweden and Norway, Mr. CC all over most of Europe), both still pack quite excessively now a days, but we also do a lot of different things whi...

Great stuff Greenghirl, good live reporting and nice volume, you sound like our kind of ghirl, going full bore! ;) Sad to have missed you by a week, would have been fun to meet up! Please say hi to Ingi at Utopia if you get the chance, and if you can get the words out “tak for alt!” (Ingi will get i...

Re: Utopia

We didn’t visit in “the days of Nel”, so can’t speak to that comparison, but relative to the general market we do not entirely agree with your assessment of the menu here. Sure Boer has better value, and 1e, Easy Times, GP and others may have somewhat better quality and / or selection (but with exce...

Re: Hello. This place is epic!

Hey Nobbsy and welcome on board! We would say that you have an ok list of shops, but do yourself a big favor and skip Prix, one of the worst tourist traps in our book. Even better you might add Easy Times and especially one of the Boerejoegens shops to the list, you will not regret it! For a really ...

Re: Can someone help my finde decent Og-Kush in decent price??

Oh, and bonus info: Easy Times currently (at least as of august 15th when the menu on FBN’s awesome page was last updated and when we were there) has both OG Kush Hash and OG Kush Ice, both of which comes with our recommendations (although the other hashes may be even better value for money).

Re: Can someone help my finde decent Og-Kush in decent price??

@Vairloff: Easy Times carries several OG crosses, the cheapest we thinks is the OG 18 which at 14 is a little above what you asked for, but given the quality and strength of the rest of their menu we are betting it will be worth the cash! :)
