Re: Arizer Extreme-Q.. better than the Volcano??

Thank you for the swift replies, guys! If I had the money, I would probably go with another Volcano, but at the moment it's just too far out of my reach, pricewise... A lot of folks seem to recommend using the elbow to fill with herbs rather than the bowl lower down - I'm sure it's going to be down ...

Arizer Extreme-Q.. better than the Volcano??

Hey guys.. I need a bit of advice here - I'm looking to buy a vaporiser for home use and I have my eye on the Arizer Extreme-Q... My only experience with vapes in the past has been the old faithful Volcano, both in Amsterdam and also at home - for the last couple of years I was kind of half-owner of...

Re: Your First Coffee?

Back in the day, before I discovered Voyagers, I used to stay at the hotel Vijaya so I'd leave my bag there and head straight to 420/De Kuil and a gram of Super Silver or Nevilles Haze - depending on what they had on the menu. This was my arrival routine. Nowadays, if I'm staying at Voyagers, it's u...

Re: Katsu

I have permission from the photographer. If the shop lets them take a picture that is on the shop. As I already stated, if it bothers you, don't read it. All I am doing is saving a lot of time and walking or biking for people. Ten posts and you think you are in charge of the site. Chill out, life i...

Re: Hotel Voyagers

Sure - I don't see any reason why not! Go for the better room if you can get it, Haggdogg! Though just for the sake of of not missing out on the double while you're cancelling the twin, book the double room first, THEN cancel the twin... I tried a similar thing with another hotel once and while I wa...

Re: Voyagers

With all due respect, might I suggest that this was done to "seem" to be following the anti-tobacco laws, with regards to the police, but if you built a joint with tobacco in and smoked it in front of them, with it obviously having a fair bit of baccy in, I seriously doubt they would tell...

the owners and the workers all use tobacco in the joints at Voyagers
Quite possibly matty, never seen it myself!

Nonetheless, I find the air a lot more breathable in there than a lot of other places I've been in...

Re: Voyagers

Kingbee - I don't think you've spent enough time in Voyagers! I occasionally see someone sneaking a bit of tobacco into a joint in here, but generally speaking the atmosphere in here has a lot less tobacco smoke than most other coffeeshops I visit and the guys who run the place are very hot on the r...

Sunday Lunch - Molly Malones or Batavia?

Well? What do you reckon?
I've had the Sunday lunch at Batavia and although it was good, it wasn't outstanding!
Got the choice of one or the other and have never dined at Molly Malones before...

Re: Hotel Voyagers

If you want to smoke in the rooms, that's up to you... But bear in mind, they all have smoke detectors in the rooms and if you set them off, you risk getting kicked out of the hotel. Or getting throttled by everyone else in the hotel when the alarms go off! Your choice. Just remember that it IS ille...

Re: Hotel Voyagers

Strange - when we were there a month ago I heard the guys say that Hotelrunners had put the dates up for the rest of Feb, March, April etc. but almost every day, I've checked on their website for availability for the end of Feb-beginning of March and there's still nothing posted after the 12th Feb f...

Re: Voyagers

The weed here for me has always been consistently good and the service equally excellent. Landed on Tuesday and of course tried the Testing Tuesday strain, along with the Amnesia as the lemon Bubble was out of stock. Both were bang on! The testing strain was easily worth a lot more in my opinion... ...

Re: Steak?

Café Loetje served me up the best fillet steak of my life. Nothing has beaten it yet!
That definitely gets my vote. Never had anything other than the ribs at De Klos, but the place is always busy which is generally a very good sign!

Re: Hotel Voyagers

You could say that, USBL! I'm a man of simple pleasures, and when I find a nice "gezellig" place to lay my head, I become more and more a creature of habit as well... I've not found a better place to stay in Amsterdam in the last 20+ years. With no offence to those who like to chance...
