Sure looks like Amnesia, bar the strange colouration and dodgy advertising...

I was quite torn with this one as I love to hang out in Amnesia, but the music and weed quality(especially so close to the centre of town!) in De Kuil swung it for me!

Now if they could only put the comfy seating from Amnesia in De Kuil... Perfection! :D

Heard some good things about a place called Big Shots cafe on Warmoesstraat on the other side of the road from The Winston... Will be testing this place out on my next visit, as Barney's seems to be getting busier and busier and is still quite expensive for what is essentially just a fry-up... Don't...

hey_bobby, Tall Guy and Damster - Thanks for the kind words.. :) It's hard remembering exactly what I've been smoking and where, but here goes... The Sour Diesel, when they have it, is very nice, though from what I can recall, it wasn't on the menu the last time I visited. I had a gram of the Mekong...

Nice place to sit and chill when waiting for trains, planes or just watching the world go by... Weed is good - nothing spectacular, but good honest bud - well priced and easy smoking. Drinks and service have always been excellent, and the music is good to relax to. The stoner cats are always good fu...

I've been coming here almost as long as I've been visiting Amsterdam (except for very first trip over, probably 10 years + ago), and this has been a true home away from home. Firstly, it's just that little bit further away from the majority of the tourist crowds, which is always good news... Secondl...

The Lemongrass Wok on Oudebrugsteeg is the bizz... Now, I'm a salad-dodger of the highest order, and usually weave my way through mountains of kebabs, pizza, and other unhealthy delights whilst in Amsterdam, but this place has really grabbed me! It's quick, tasty, and fairly cheap too - if I feel I ...

Worst shithole I've ever stayed in. Period. I'm not a fussy guy, but I like to be able to at least lock the door when I'm inside. That, added up with the rather lax security here and all the other nightmare scenarios that emerged within a stay of just 3 days would make me chew off my own arm rather ...

Nice one Neldo!

I shall be giving this place a look when I head over there later this year.

Already got a place booked with some friends, but this looks perfect for those solo missions!

Great stuff...

Over the years I've stopped in some nice places and some real shit-holes in Amsterdam, but the worst had to be the Quentin Arrive. They wouldn't let me check in when I got there (11.30am) or even leave my bags, so I could go and come back to check in an hour later. Eventually when they did let me in...
