Will be in A'dam soon for several days. Am late 50's, love the city, etc. Wondering if any recommendations for places more laid back and welcoming for older people.

Hi all,
I'll be in Amsterdam in a couple of weeks (can't wait) and most places I have been are pretty loud and mainly younger, which is fine. Since I'm getting older (mid-50's) I'd like something a little more calm but still serving the best stuff. Any recommendations?
