Re: A question for my American friends

Isn't Oakland called Oksterdam? Or something like that implying it is as free and open as Amsterdam? No, it isn't free and open as Amsterdam. It is just another California city with mmj dispensaries. Btw, Oakland has the third highest crime rate in the U.S., and is third in the country for youth fi...

The Metro station is very close to the hotel and if you walk a couple of blocks from the hotel there are bakeries,...

Re: whats everyone having for dinner tonight?

Here is a fantastic Master Stock/soup/stew/sauce recipe that I found online and and I have had some delicious dishes with it. If you make it, you will taste the savory, mildly sweet and spicy depth of the broth. I am always looking for things to make the taste of a dish interesting and unique, as we...

Re: Is my laptop fucked? Photo inside

A good friend of mine who has been in the computer business for many years told me that you get the most for your money in an Asus. I bought an Asus a little less than one year ago and it has been fantastic. I did disable the touchpad and use a wireless mouse, though when the wireless thingy that pl...

Groovy report 2RS. Thanks for sharing.

You and the BMAN had a heck of a party. I imagine you crashed bigtime, in more ways than one, upon returning home.

Another good read is Keith Richards new autobio, Life.

Who is James and how can I make him my best "bud"? BTW beautiful picture. James is the proprietor of Basjoe's, and that's a tough question. I think it's hard to make any european your best bud in the space of a vacation. For them, friendship takes longer to build. (James' warmth is a quie...
