FNORD! I too have been infected by the same metavirus. Hail Discordia. It's partially because of the synchronicity thing that I brought this up. I find this stuff extremely interesting. It reminds me that no matter how smart we think we are, we aren't nearly that smart.

Eerie Coincidences

This is just really odd. It makes you wonder if there is or isn't an underlying order to the universe we are not aware of. I know this deals with 9/11, but it is pretty freaky. Follow the steps at the end, this is pretty creepy! 1) New York City has 11 letters 2) Afghanistan has 11 letters. 3) Ramsi...

Nods, just seemed like things were being painted a bit too broadly. ;) I'm not saying there aren't some rude Americans, just that generally speaking its that these travellers aren't used to travelling outside of America and aren't aware of the cultural differences. I was just trying to explain where...

I guess more and more people will now be using Fly By Nite's page for trip announcements now. This page is sooo great. You don't have to sift through pages of Travel Plans posts to see who is in town while you are. This way, you go check out the calender dates for your trip and FBN's site lists eve...

Re: The “right” way to roll a philly-blunt…

They proceeded to tell me how the “right” way to roll a philly was to remove two-thirds of the ‘baccy by digging it out with a pair of tweezers and “scoop” some gear into it. This is called a Godfather, and they got it wrong anyhows. You empty out the whole thing of tobacco with tweezers or by roll...

Nods, I voted Juice cause the coffee option wasn't there. But I agree with Redeye, it changes. I don't have a preference. Usually start with a coffee, then switch to juice/soda, then maybe flavored waters (like Propel/Gatorade). Or maybe I start in the other order. Shrug. Always changes.

Sorry to hear that, Rez. I know how you feel though, I just passed the one year anniversary of my last grandparent's death (also my grandmother). Part of you is pretty tore up she is gone, but a part of you is happy she is with the people she loves and missed for years, not to mention the cessation ...

my point was that in Rome especially, you can witness frescos and other art works from some of the pillars of ancient European artists such as Michelangelo, DaVinci, Botticelli, Raphael, Donatello or even Ghiberti.. Rome is one of the only cities where so many incredibly beautiful artworks are conc...

To add to my post... I do agree with the above comments and think that A'dam is a remarkable city. I just really love my home town. To wander around getting legally wasted and therefor taking in much more of the detail and charactor of the place would be wicked. That's the thing, I tripped out in t...
