We just intend on going to the street party's, coffee shops and bars on NYE. Im guessing everywhere is crazy busy?

There isnt any ticket requirements either for the street/square party's is there?

Rainy days in Amsterdam have a nice feel to them i think. Makes you feel good to just be sitting letting the hours go up in smoke away fro the stress of day to day life back home

It seems there is 3 or 4 favorite or "best" coffee shops but i kinda think that is dependant on what you are looking for on that particular occasion. Ie - You have been out sight seeing and want to stop in somewhere quite bright and cafe like to have a hot chocolate and rest your weary fee...
