Re: Katsu

Was in Katsu twice. First time I got the Grinspoon, don't remember the price (20E for 1.2?) and it was not what I remember, didn't get that soaring super up high like I have in that past... Usually Grinspoon makes me think, "am I high?" and then I start walking around or talking or somethi...

Re: Birdy (Haarlem)

This was the only coffeeshop we stopped in when we went to Haarlem. Nice large space, plenty of seating, I really liked the layout here. Lots of wood and whatnot. Definitely a locals place, besides us there were only two or three others there, speaking Dutch. I got the Knetter, Cheese and some Jelly...

Re: Utopia

Visited Utopia quite a few times during my two week trip, including meeting a bunch of the guys from here on 420. Small shop, I like the table and seats in the window. On my first visit asked the budtender what she recommended (My wife commented on how friendly she was, and that she was dressed up l...

Re: 1e Hulp Coffeeshop

This shop wasn't far from our apartment, so I spent a good amount of time here and tried quite a few things on the menu. Truthfully, nothing stood out as great but nothing was terrible either. I enjoyed the warm ears hash, went through a gram of that and would have bought more but didn't get around ...

Re: Club Media

This was a nice, chill shop. Got a gram of Casey Jones, was a pretty good smoke. Comfy chairs, the people were friendly, my wife (nonsmoker) liked the laid back feel of the place, said it was one of her favorite stops. Not loud, you could sit here and smoke and read the paper and not be bothered. Wo...

Re: Double Reggae

Walked in there only because they had a sign up saying it was their last day, and weed was discounted... I took a look, it looked like crap, the budtender was a nasty old man, we walked out laughing. He said the place is turning into a reggae bar. The next day the windows were covered up.

Re: Greenhouse

I spent a TON of time in the different Greenhouse shops over my recent trip... Why? Because these guys are doing it right. The weed is top-notch (LOVED the Flowerbomb Kush, best smoke of the trip!), the shops are laid out well with lots of comfy seating, good music, the budtenders were all friendly ...

Re: Grey Area

Just spent 15 nights in Amsterdam, hit so many coffeeshops... Some that are never discussed on this board... And I ended up back at Grey Area because of the quality, really enjoyed the Silver Bubble, the Evergrey and the Sour Tangie. I also tried half a gram of the grey crystals, grains and the silv...

Re: Grey Area

The silver bubble is top notch. Tasty! Really enjoyed the evergrey as well (thanks Gapie). The crystals were ok. The grains were better. Loved the silver bubble isolator, stronger than expected.

Re: traveling outside the Netherlands with cannabis

I've never seen it really enforced in France through. If you're carrying something they usually just take it away and give you a warning, sometimes they even let you keep it. Still, it's much safer to just buy it locally. I'm telling you from personal experience it is enforced, and I got the impres...

traveling outside the Netherlands with cannabis

Don't do it. Took a train from amsterdam to Paris, walked off the train and onto the platform, past dogs who didn't so much as look at me. I was thinking how easy it would have been to bring a couple grams with me... Was stopped and searched as soon as we were off the platform and about to round the...
