Sorted, I love it when a plan comes together. Have just checked train and bus schedules and can't make the 21:00 Friday Nes meet, but will definately hook up Saturday at either the 11:30 coffeeshop or at Boom for the boaty jolly.

For me it's alway straight off the train and into Coffeeshop Central. If I'm lucky I can pick up a nice bag of Peacemaker and that slows me down quite nicely ;-)
Saturday may well still be available if you can get to Boom Chicago bar soon. When do you get into Amsterdam?
Lemming: I get into Holland on Friday night, and can hook up anytime on Saturday. Am staying near Beverwijk or I would meet you on Friday.

Sounds like a great idea, have always wanted to give St Niks a go. Saturdays best for me but can always catch up with you all at the Nes if Monday turns out to be best day for pot-tering (sorry) about in boats. Who is going to get down to the Boom to book the boat?

It certainly is better than La Paz. Tried the Iceolater and the White Widow on my last visit and had a nice long smoke in the sun on their patio and rolled a couple more before walking along the beach.

As Boner says, there are plenty of coffeeshops that are at ground level so it won't be hard to find one to suit you both. The Betty Boop in Nieuwezijds Kolk is at ground level plus it has seating outside so that you can smoke outside if your wife would prefer that.

Greeting's from Bifton

Have been visiting the Netherlands since the mid 80's and after using this site for many years I felt that it was about time I put a little back. After the initial Amsterfication period, I have had the pleasure of exploring further afield. So in time you can expect reviews from Terneuzen to Maastric...
