I've always eaten like a bird on previous trips. By this I mean I don't eat much, and when I do it's usually crap like McD's, NY Pizza, Manneken Pis, or FEBO. I want to change that this year. I'm not looking to go crazy with steakhouses or anything, but I want to eat good this time. That was my tho...

Voted other. Thinking Philly Cheese Steak joint. Easy enough to do with ingredients that should be readily available over there: good bread, ribeye, onions... Maybe upgrade the cheeze wiz to oude kaas :wink: Provide a sambal or mayo option. Offer a paper cone of frites alongside and the Nederlanders...

Thanks DC. Perhaps I should broaden the parameters of my original query: anyone have any recs for a coffeeshop where my lame friend can rest his busted leg (i.e., keep it raised/be able to recline comfortably). Centrum location would be a plus.
