First timers get my S G Collins recommendation I think a read of this will maximize your efficiency once you get there. How not to get hit by a bike and other stuff they forgot to tell you about Amsterdam . Thanks for the suggestion. I actually did read this the other day. I like the way he writes....

Hello everyone!

I've been reading here for a few weeks now and preparing for my upcoming trip to Amsterdam (1st time). I will be there May 7-13th. I just wanted to say thank you to all of the posters for all your insights and information. You've been fun to read.
