Re: Anyone else build models or did so as a kid ?
Top man gixxer. A friend of the family went to the Falklands too on HMS Broadsword. A whole load of us went down to the docks to greet them home and I was quite young then but brilliant at that age being able to get on the ship and have a look around after it saw action and got hit by an unexploded ...

It surprises me you don't have the odd few bits of real antique war stuff. I thought if any would, you would, what with your interest in WWII. Anyway, good luck with it all and happy hunting.Cisco wrote:I think it would be cool to have some military stuff lying about , beside the scale models

Re: what film(s) are u watching
I've not seen that one yet above, but want to.
My all time No1 film ever on my personal film list is on TV tonight at 10ish.
Lost count how many times I've seen it but I think it's flawless and brilliant, imho
The Shining with Jack Nicholson.

Re: Syrup strain?
OK, here's an update. I bought 5 seeds for £40 from Buddha Seeds from a grow shop near me. 2 have taken well and on their way, 2 couldn't get pass the cotyledon and stayed static, the last seed is not wanting to grow past the cotyledon. I will just have to nurse the remaining 2 and hope these won't ...

Re: Anyone else build models or did so as a kid ?
I love all military stuff, I don't build these models like the ones in this thread but anything military, is right up my street. I went into an antique shop near me the other day and the guy had various 100% authentic Nazi items for sale. These things are extremely collectable and very costly. The v...

Re: what film(s) are u watching
I used to love Northern Exposure and watched it all the time, although when Fleischman left it started going down hill a bit, imho. Some recent DVD movies I've watched.............. Town (2010) - a movie about a bank robbery, heist with Ben Affleck, some good action. I give it 7 out of 10 Perrier's ...

Re: I'm really liking thid foe or friend
I've used it once in this particular forum for that vey reason too, unfortunately. I used to belong to the Hip-Forums (Amsterdam section) about 10 or 11 years ago and they introduced this button there. Although it's ostracizing others, it soon got the point over to those members who spouted utter in...

I swear never to go back to a 5 gear car after 6 gears now! The Mrs' car has 6 gears and I look for 7th on the odd occasion. lol, yeah, sometimes I forget what gear I'm in having 6 gears, it's easily done and I know exactly what you mean about looking for the 7th . Trouble is, I'm drivi...

Re: What's everyone listerning to
I've been nothing but working last few days and listening to no music. I catch the Jeremy vine and Richard Bacon shows on car radio, driving around all the day. (Somerset through Devon into Cornwall today) This was good when I got back http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HxejJKX8kBc&playnext=1&li...

Re: Syrup strain?
I've never grown these auto's before and really curious how they'll perform. They'll be out in the Somerset sunshine up some local woodlands (completely secure and safe) I hope it will give some good results. I'll follow your advice Boner and start them out in large pots. Cheers

Syrup strain?
Anyone had any experience with this auto-flowering strain called Syrup? Just picked up some seeds from a local grow shop. I think I paid over the odds, but wanted a cash deal and not pay online and all that credit card hastle. This is what they had in the shop as well. http://www.picvault.info/image...
