Most coffeeshops will be closed well before midnight, so plan accordingly. And most bars will sell tickets to get in for NYE or simply only let in regular customers starting around 23:00.

Never seen a coffeeshop have an area reserved for a group other than celebrities. Cafe Batavia does have a private room that you can control the music in.
