Thanks, but i'm not staying in a hotel, i'm renting an apartment

Hi all!

I'm going to Amsterdam this coming Monday (pretty much a newbie)

This may or may not sound like a stupid question but i don't want to have to carry my passport every time i go out, so will a photocopy of my passport suffice? Just in case i do get asked for proof of age etc
