Re: Wok To Walk

The one in glasgow is alright, not as good as the ones in Dam<<<

Is it clean ?
Because that scores big points for me.
Most of the W2W in Amasterdam are disgusting by 3 hours after opening and stay that way until they turn the fire hose on the place the following morning.

Vampire Weekend, imo the best pop band of the past decade. Really reminds me of a hip modern Paul Simon. Been covered by everyone from Peter Gabriel to Ryan Adams lately. Oxford Comma http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_i1xk07o4g Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wHl9qRsMzw&ob=...

The Decemberists - The King Is Dead ( in my top 5 albums of the year ) rocking, crunchy roots rock, with stunning lyrics. Here is a couple tracks, but worth grabbing the album and seeing them live at your first chance. Calamity Song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lcGSEbfegrs&feature=related Down...

"Mountain Jam" - The Allman Brothers Band 'Live at Ludlow Garage 1970 Disc 2'<<<< Wish they would rerelease that show with a better mix, that is an epic jam but a tad muddy, hopefully the master reels still exist, though they may have been baked in the initial transer ala the early GD reels.

Noah and the Whale. From the same UK clan as Laura Marling. These guys are really turning a new generation on to acid-folk. L.M. is singing backup on these tracks. Could you grow stealthlike in a condo ?

Just wondering if it is possible to grow 1-2 plants in a condo on the downlow or does it really reek ?
Like one of those self contained tents ?
I have a friend thinking about this, i think he is crazy.

Laura Marling - Devil's Spoke (I Speak Because I Can)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fs-xxv3ucBg

I consider her the modern incarnation of Bob Dylan.
I'll put up some more of her later, but folks into Dylan and folk-ish jams step in ( Spidergawd that is you :) ).

Re: Blue Lagoon

Glad some folks have checked this place out and others are considering it.
Some great jewels outside of Centrum with far better prices and great quality.
These shops who rarely if ever see tourists are still in business because of great service and quality products.

Pretty Lights.
Techno-ish.
Its a DJ and a live drummer, really great live, the guy drops the sickest samples .
All his albums are available for FREE download at his site.

LCD Soundsystem

You guys hip to LCD Soundsystem 'cross the pond ? I know they hung in London for a while and did some shows. They are ( were ) like a modern twist of The Talking Heads crossed with an acid dose of live trance. This is not a DJ, they play this as a band. Hope you enjoy! HOME http://www.youtube.com/wa...

Phish Summer 2011

I know, not much love for this type of groove on this site, but do not hate me for trying  . Phish has really had a great leg 1 to summer tour and has really focused the jamming style quite a bit, alot less noodle, more drive. Here is a few proshot jams, and yes they still have the best sou...
