haha I've come to the conclusion that certain strains just don't like being trained, I have my 'practice' la con which has been topped 7 times. I only wanted it topped once Then you have something like lemon skunk, with 'bendy' stalks and it takes really really well to training...

If you are using out the bottle nutes (and can follow instructions), in coco or soil you'll be fine without. In my opinion they are only needed if you are mixing up ur own shit or growing hydro....
