"I've got two bookings at the Vijaya this year, both have cost me €185 for three nights" See this is where I do not understand the math or the economics. Considering I paid 165 euros (20 euros less total) for 3 nights in a great 4 star with a smoking room--- double. (I actually stayed 14 n...

"id buy the 78 Yugo" You know I have a movie recommendation then. "Drowning Mona" with Danny DeVito. The running gag throughout the movie is that Yugo was using that area to test the car and had given everyone in town a Yugo to drive. (based on a somewhat true event that Yugo par...

"Thanks buddy" If you are a smoker then I would put in your request for a smoking room asap. The entire 3rd floor from what I could tell. Sometimes smoking rooms can be a little rank for me but these were great. I also asked for a room at the front. Still very quiet unless you had the wind...

I just finished a rather long stay at the four star NH Amsterdam Centre on PL NYOP bidding. A very nice hotel. A great location. A price almost to good to be true. 55 euros all in with tax and fee for a very nice 4 star double room.. Even a smoking room. And it could have been cheaper. I could have...

"I wonder how low a 3 star hotel can be purchased for?"

As far as PL I would forget a 3 star. At least in AMS.

AMS is just not a PL 3 * city as far as bidding.

Its either a 4 or a 5 as far as any decent action.

Lion King based on where you live I believe it will be the UK site that you will need to use.

Although I have read where those outside the US and Canada have figured out a way to use the US site. Just no reason to that I can see.

Lion King as far as we can tell you get the same price at either site....PL.com or UK. Only difference is figuring that exchange rate when you bid. You may be bidding in pounds but PL sees it as US $$$. But something I should have mentioned. Those sites like betterbidding make it on people placing t...

"got the Nh Amsterdam Centre by the Leidseplein for $79." A great price for that hotel. But right now that hotel is going for $10-11 cheaper as far as a winning bid. Although once you add in the tax and fee you are back up to $79. Virtually everyone I see at TA is getting that hotel for $6...

Balou, over at TA they have reported wins from everywhere. But they have a lot of their own members that only post on TA. So if you want to look at one place that has virtually every reported winning bid then TA is a one stop place. The other places like bidding4 will only have a sliver of TA's data...
