Post office, but still shop around if you have more than post office near check both of them as they may have different rates. I get 109 at my local but the one in town gives 113. Amsterdam is a definite no-go for tourists with hire cars. Probably 90%+ of the cars you will see close to the centre will be locals. The transport over there is so good that you really don't need one anyway.

Where does everyone go to change their money for the Dam? I used to use the shops operated by no1currency.com (they are usually situated in pawn shops, cash converters, etc) but checking recently they don't seem to be so favourable any more.
