Re: Layover in Amsterdam
Not implausible at all. It's not like the red cubes are inside the plane or anything. The idea would be for you to walk out of the airport's security zone, meet gapie, step outside to smoke a few joints and share a few laughs, and then go through security again and hop onto your plane. Not implausib...

Re: Layover in Amsterdam
Now this would be a story to write home about, having a couple of pre-rolled (by a master of his art) joints hand delivered to the airport, with the accompanying outdoor T&T.
If you guys get this set up, it would be awesome!

Re: it is confirmed: Summer of Luv from 24Jul to 28Jul
Is there any way to catch up with you guys and the roaming hordes during the day? I see that USBL has lined up tons of T&Ts either "upon opening" or "9-10pm until closing". Both time frames don't match my time slots, as I'd be taking a train from Schagen to Amsterdam for a da...

Re: Drunken Taxi
Me and my gf have decided to go on a night out on the booze over the August bank holiday weekend, and are going to the Rembrantplein on a Saturday night to get intoxicated, as it's my birthday. I don't like using taxis in Amsterdam, infact I have never used one. However, she is insisting we get one...

Re: Maastricht
From my understanding, the Coffeeshops in Maastricht are all closed in protest. Except maybe one. If you don't want to deal with the street dealers, take a train to Amsterdam. From Maastricht, we're talking 2:26 hours and 23,20€ each way. Depending on how far the wietpas will have progressed when yo...

Re: Layover in Amsterdam
Holy crap. It's possible that technically it COULD be done, but it would definitely not be fun. Run from Centraal to Voyagers, toke a quick one and run back to catch a train or a cab. A cab will probably run you 45€ each way. See if you can get some more time between your flights, take a train both ...

Re: Bike path routeplanner.
And about the Google maps thingie: The current version of Google Maps for Android does not support the bike path layer yet. But it does allow you to download map segments so you can later access them without internet access. Amsterdam can easily be downloaded in one go.

Re: Bike path routeplanner.
Nice. Google has also just upgraded Google Maps to provide bike path information. http://google-latlong.blogspot.de/2012/07/biking-directions-expands-into-europe.html "Helping cyclists navigate the bike trails throughout those countries proved hugely popular, so we’re wheelie excited to announc...

Re: CANNABIS CUP 2012
You can always try http://airbnb.com for a room. Please, please do NOT use http://wimdu.com as they're just a cheap rip-off of airbnb and should not be supported. As for November, I probably won't be able to make it - again. So let's see if there will be a regular Cannabis Cup 2013 or if you'll need...

Re: Pre Rolled joints
Some coffeeshops sell only "weed joints" and "hash joints" - there might be anything in these. Then there are coffeeshops that sell "weed joints" as well as pre-rolled joints made with specific strains, but usually only 2 or 3 different ones. Plus, with pre-rolled joint...

Re: Planning our first visit 25-27 August
Could you please let me know what a tour is covering? Is it only the tours of Coffee Shops or other places are also covered (both smoking and non-smoking related)? I have never done the tour thing so I can't help you with that. But I agree with the others that no tour is necessary. Make a list of w...
