I think we need the Dutch people to get behind this, but feel it is very low down on many Dutch peoples agenda. Yep, most Dutch are happy to tolerate cannabis use, but who is willing to fight for the right for people to use cannabis? :? if i was a dutch resident id be in favour of banning tourists,...

The major rush of a court case seems to have been sparked after the violence in Eindhoven, but this is to introduce the pass system in the province of North Brabant. https://www.coffeeshopdirect.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15954 I feel if the government are able to get their way quickly, this will no...

Cafe Wenders on Prinsengracht - typical dutch brown cafe/bistro sort of place, reminds of french bistros you'd find around the Bastille in Paris... but Dutch Pastini on Leidsegracht - Italian, very small, very very good food, gorgeous location on corner of two canals, lots of boats passing etc... C...

It was quite busy, the tender was a guy in his 20's, as I recall not pushy. Had some chocolope (or maybe i...

I was surpised when i was chatting to the bud tender in my local coffeeshop in Den Haag, to discover he had heard nothing about the members only plans! Maybe its only in Amsterdam and the boarder towns where this is an issue? The coffeeshop I use is mostly locals (as are the majority of coffeeshops...

The only thing stopping me from returning to other cities I've short-breaked at such as Paris, Venice, Rome, Tallinn, Helsinki, Krakow, Dublin, London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Madrid etc etc - is the fact that they just aren't Amsterdam. Take away the access to weed and for me you take away the reason I...

There is nowhere else on this planet (that I am aware of :-) anyone passing the age requirement can buy a small amount of cannabis for personal use, smoke it in establishments which are not private clubs, and enjoy this freedom while seeing the city, or just hanging out. That IMO is the real a...
