That is some serious amount of research there. I never realised that so many things had happened on one specific date in years gone past. My birthday is the same date (20th) in March and bugger all happened on that day during any other year. Even when wars were on the 20th of March was probably alwa...

They seem to have changed their tactics in order to make the links more "appealing". Always used to be links for some sort of drug and I haven't seen many of those around since the Kelly and Kim Crew arrived.

It is only a few yards away from De Kuil if you head from there back towards the train station. One of the more spacious establishments of it's kind in Amsterdam.

Per back2's question I think it's great that as stoner's we celebrat a time or date but no one really knows why. It seems appropriat some how I thought the whole 4/20 thing came about as the result of certain state police forces in USA using 420 as the call in code for drug busts relating to mariju...

Spent some time there during my last trip and was very impressed with the place and the attitude of the staff. Walked in off the street and ordered a coffee (I like how you always get the little biscuits as well), and proceeded to skin up using gear that I had bought elsewhere and started smoking aw...

It's towards the square but it's pretty easy to find from Victoria Hotel.

The place has it's own website here

Oh yeah you guys definitely have that "licence revoked" look about you but it's a stylish look as well and definitely one you don't see a lot of these days.

Quality photos. Quite a few shots of places I have never been and things I have never tried.

Suppose a little welcome to the forum post is in order here.

You'll feel right at home with the majority of regulars (usual suspects) here.

I thought the interviews with the man and woman were carried out in such a way that you didn't know if they were caught/actually in jail until the end. It looked like they were simply sitting in front of a black wall/background and then at the end the camera panned out to show the jail cells. It was...

Banged Up Abroad

Saw this programme on UK Channel 5 on Monday night. Was all about a man and woman who had got to know each other during the summer season in Ibiza, where they were both working. When the season stopped, so did the work but they still had a fair bit of money and they decided to go to Amsterdam to try...

Really must get that idea into my head

Three or four short stays per year instead of one long stay. Not much further in terms of flying time from where I live but surely you must get the same "before you know it" feeling when you have to head for home again.

The time must fly by?
