Ha! I used to stay at the Crowne Plaza - the windows don't open and I read on Tripadvisor someone left the room to check out and was hit with a 150euro fine for smoking.

Re: The end of Coffeeshop tourists

Pretty sad news. Things were already crumbling - if you remember Fancy Free coffeeshop with the shufflepuck and pool tables downstairs, it also had an electronic board for the weed prices similar to a travel exchange - gone...amongst others. No longer can you sit in the Sensi coffeeshop no more (pro...

Thanks guys. My old routine was fly out Friday for arrival 2.30pm Amsterdam time, check into the Crowne Plaza and then get the 7.30pm flight back on Sunday afternoon. I loved Schipol airport, I mean I hate airports but this one rocks. One time I said in the airport passport control - 'Is it possible...

Amsterdam August trip

It had been 3 yrs since my last trip - this time we went by boat from Newcastle to Amsterdam as my friend won't fly. Massive expense and I recommend you just take a KLM flight if possible. Boat is OK, but Commodore Deluxe Cabin is a must (at great expense) as the boat entertainment is dire. Avoid th...

Thanks...I'm guessing the cheaper the ice, the less potent it is.

Would be easy for them to cut the stuff...no?

I'm off to the dam tommorrow...is there some sort of iceolator that isn't going to blow my head off? I remember 3 yrs back we got ice from Amnesia. I ended up off my head, total 'fear' and like I was on a rollercoaster with no safety harness. After 1 hour, it calmed down and after 2 hours I felt ube...

Will be in town Friday onwards. We've got a flat booked with balcony overlooking a canal near leidseplein. I normally stay at the Crowne Plaza near central station but 250 euro a night x2 persons + no smoking (150 euro fine if caught) put me right off. The flat comes with cheap parking, 125 euro a n...

Black - nice stone, not heavy, zero paranoia or dodgy feeling 'fear' feeling. Can function fine and work, comes off clean. Skuff - homemade style seived from big bud. In small doses, medium strength hit, put more in and it becomes super strong, more and you get the fear lolz. So you set the stone st...

Recommend me some Amsterdam hash

I'm off the Amsterdam this week, just wanted to get some feedback as to what hash would be recommended. I like Mountain High (bought it in Amnesia 3 yrs ago) and Ketama Gold (Hill Street Blues). I prefer the happy up / feel good sativa high hash where I can function and don't feel off my tits lolz. ...
