Re: Best basic equipment, help needed.
My advice would be get a kit from here - http://www.growell.co.uk :) Their kits work. I've used them for about 8 years, they don't sell junk and if you call and ask what you need for a grow room of any size, they tell you without trying to sell you stuff you don't need, they defo know their stuff :)...

Re: Best basic equipment, help needed.
The size of the lamp wont determine if you grow good or great weed, the only differance is yield, when I was using a 250 my weed was fucking awesome (the Blue Cheese I grew was better than anything I've ever smoked) the only thing it lacked was yield. I've seen the same clone grown under 600W and 4...

Re: Best basic equipment, help needed.
Yeah I'd for for 9 smaller plants in a 1m x 1m area, it's only a 400 watt light, if plants are taller they won't get as much light. 4 bigger plants if 600 watt. I say go for 600 watt because in my experience, the results are so much better. I've seen good weed off a 400 watt, but never great weed.

Re: Best basic equipment, help needed.
That looks like everything you will need, but never seen those brand of extractor so not sure if they're any good. Why would you only grow 2 or 3 plants in that setup though? I would go for about 9 smaller plants, that should give you best results off a 400 watt light. But I'd seriously reccomend go...

Re: The end of Coffeeshop tourists
Hi all. Cant believe the tourist ban is actually happening. I'm from Scotland and have visited AMS twice a year for the last 8 years and spent around £1000 each time, but that will stop if I'm banned from the cafes. Why, in this current economic crisis, is Holland denying itself so much cash. Its a...

Re: Accommodation for Stag party
http://www.amsterdamescape.com/ These I found while looking for accomodation for my trip, they look good but were fully booked when I wanted so can't say for sure. If I was going with a group though, I'd give them a shot, apartments seem to have all the shit you need - playstation, xbox, computer wi...

Re: Air cooled help
Never used mh lamps, are they hotter than hps? But I can tell you for a fact that a 5" extractor rated 250m3/hour with carbon filter is adequate for a 120x120 tent with 600W hps, even on the hottest days, no fancy air cooled lighting required and no intake fan required.

Re: Air cooled help
What size tent and what lights are you using? If it's standard 120x120 and 600W, a 6" fan and filter alone should be fine, overkill if anything. It may be that the intake fan is too much so you aren't getting a negative air pressure in the tent (carbpn filter reduces amount of air a fan can shi...

No orig cheese here either, there's a good cheese clone going around but that's big buddha cheese. Sour diesel is best clone around here and there's a good chem dog clone (not orig though obviously). There was el nino, sensi star and ak47 but not seen them for ages so probably lost. Sour D, ECSD an...

Tutti- it is so great to hear how awesome your life is and how much you're enjoying expat life. (I moved to Switzerland from the U.S. two years ago and it has been great for my mr and I as well.) I think it's awesome that you opened a Ukulele shop! I'm sure you've heard Eddie Vedder's Ukulele Songs...
