Re: Amsterdam strain selection!?
Grey Area, Voyagers, Utopia, and potentially 420 are on my list. Is 420 good for bud? Good choices  Blues Brothers is also quite cool in that area, their Sticky Fingers Haze was lovely when I was there at the end of March). I do really like 420, great place to chill, weed is good/v.good, w...

Re: Amsterdam strain selection!?
Mine just depends on what mood I'm in a the time, what looks good and what the recommendations are. Check out the travelogues section - that's basically exactly what you're looking for

Re: Countdown: Hajj 2012
EVERYTHING I sampled was TOP QUALITY, very hard to 'rate' them with any accuracy on account of them all being great and keeping me stoned during my waking day. At first I read WORKING DAY , and after seeing the smoke list I thought - damn, now that is a seasoned smoker   I know what y...

Re: 3rd Time Lucky!
I'm considering doing a travelogue and wondering if anyone has any tips or advice on how to do a decent write-up while things get a little bit hazy over there? Welcome, have a great time :) Wish I could help much here, so if anyone has good ideas also I'd love to know also. Built my reports up slow...

Re: Anonymous Joins War For Legalization Cannabis
Yeah, that's my slight concern, but on the other hand I like the part that says: 2) Bringing to the forefront the “narco-warriors” (as they have come to be known). These are primarily the police unions, the private prison contractors, big pharmaceutical companies, the alcohol and tobacco industries,...

Only just spotted an update from a week or so ago, seems like they have a long term plan then, trying to drum up a load of support before October 1st.... http://opcannabis.wordpress.com/2012/04/27/operation-cannabis-420-phase-2-press-release/ Team V3nd3tt4 Press Release Operation Cannabis 420 Phase ...

Re: Norml UK now online!
Good news, thanks for the info, yet more groups getting active over here. A few years ago I had a bit of hunt to see if there were many campaign groups etc, and to be honest I really didn't see much happening, just seemed to be a lot of internal squabbles and not much visible. But in the past few ye...

Am I glad that at least the smoking part is fine until 2015, so bumping into other smokers in a bar/smoking friendly establishment who will point you in the right direction sounds like a good bet

UK Drug Policy Commission - Recruiting an Intern
This sounds very interesting... http://www.ukdpc.org.uk/recruiting-for-an-intern/ Recruiting for a paid Research Intern We are seeking an intern for a four-month period starting immediately. The intern will work primarily on our research project looking at how we make drug policy in the UK (ie ‘gove...

Re: victimless crime
Although, saying that, I've just read the following here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/society/2012/apr/30/cannabis-production-booming-britain-police But the report says in many cases the number of plants seized in raids is well above 25, which is regarded as the legal minimum to be prosecuted for comm...

Re: victimless crime
Sadly maybe not However he brushed aside the Crown’s assertion that Ray’s grow would have yielded up to a kilo and said his plants were “the cannabis equivalent of a bonsai tree”. So, I suppose other Judges may take a different view (not too sure exactly), but here's hoping that more and more people...

Hmm, looks like Ed Miliband's getting ready

Re: Now they wanna ban chips being sold near schools !!!
Over here in the UK - I'm sure I remember a few years ago when Jamie Oliver tried starting to get the schools to make healthy meals (kids weren't allowed out at lunch I believe) - seeing on TV mums handing bags of chips and deep fried fried sausages etc through the gates to their kids at lunch/break...
