Take this forum for example, hundreds of posts keeping people pretty much up to date and ...

Loved Dolphins, the area downstairs must be one of the comfiest places to chill in Amsterdam. Didnt buy any of their weed for no reason other than we always seemed to have just stocked up when we visited.

BTW their large OJs are a steal, about 5 euros but about 10 oranges squeezed into every glass.

On my last stay we had Noon and Mellow Yellow at either ends of the street our apartment was on. I didnt find anything wrong with Noon, other than the fucking ahhem the locals there were just indifferent , the dealer tried to upsell the quantity and the variety of the weed we bought. I had no proble...

another excellent report

The 'Dam for NYE is spectacular. Spent one of the best nights of my life in Dam square on shrooms, add some fine weed and industrial strength fireworks. What a night!

I've never actually seen the use of heroin on the park, but the underpass at the town end was the first place I ever saw used needles. Actually I walking through it kicking the dried leaves on the floor (it was October/November time) when I realised it wasnt just leaves!!! Luckilly I was wea...

Quick Map Tip Pick up a copy of Boom! - Free in a lot of places - there's a map on the back which has all the street names clearly marked. Rip it off and put in pocket, job done! Also the magazine is a good read (first time around, more or less the same copy in it as there was 10 years ago) plus the...

Voted for alcohol but it really depends on the time of day

Coffee/fruit juice in the day then onto beer in the evening (not much though as we all know where that can lead  ) also i quite like a lemonade to freshen the old dry mouth.

And if you're feeling a bit ropey you can get rid so to speak. I thought I was the only one who done that. Excellent! I always pass the J on. Plus it's such a cool thing when someone you've never met before at a gig (or football match for me) taps you on the shoulder and offers you a spliff -...

Smoking is fine in the park, just follow the normal etiquette of trying to avoid smoking around children or old people.

sorry if it's drifting off topic a little but going back to the early wake up... I'm all for that the more I think of it... a late afternoon 5pm-ish nap would make it feel like you had two days in one when you went out that evening... Sounds good to me. Rez Yes, the good old get up early and kip in...
