Very good. So good I can't remember which they were - level 3 of 5 anyway, possibly Colombian? Marvellous, and yeah, I find trouble easy enough to avoid, the folks that got it - Amsterdam simply isn't there kinda town. I'd recommend Blackpool instead to them.

Still an awesome place. Went twice last weekend, spent much of Friday (between hits on the Volcano) chatting with the lovely Joanne / Joanna behind the bar. What a girl. :D Met some locals in there on Saturday who, amazingly, had never tried the vapouriser. Needless to say they're converts. :twisted...

Godammit Amsterdam is a ridiculously fab city. Yeah, course you all know that, but it's worth repeating. Spent the weekend flitting between 420 (can't stay away from that Volcano), Dampkring, Bulldog Energy Cafe (stonking techno), Excalibur, Rock Planet, Black & White Bar, and the Torenzicht hot...

What can I say, bloody marvellous hotel, I'd stay there again no problem. Basic rooms, but if all you really need is a bed and a bathroom then you're sorted. 24 hour bar, slap bang in the middle of the action, 'interesting' views from the smoking corner. And cheap too. Highly recommended.

Hehehe, less than a week to go. :twisted: 8) As I've said to Mr Wurzal, there's not too much point making any meeting plans, they'll be out the window by about 10:05 on Friday morning. But I'm sure I'll be spending good time in De Dampkring and 420, and I 'aim' to find Nes too, so if you see a bloke...

Can't fooking wait. A good solid weekend reaquainting myself with everything the best City in the world has to offer (apart from any of that paying-for-sex bollox ), getting totally toasted, not giving a flying one...like I said, can't wait.

You missed out De Kuil, or 420 or whatever it's now called. Can't miss Captain Birdseye.

Nice start - but go hit the town man. It's the cool and groovy people you end up nattering with in the c-shops and bars that make the trip.

Aah the joys of those long stoned strolls through the Dam. Finding yourself floundering in the middle of a junction with trams, cars, and worse...bicycles, all heading towards you with grim inevitability. Can't beat it. :lol: Sounds like a great time Den. Can't wait to assume the position at the bar...

I'm around fro 19th to 21st. If you see a somewhat confused looking bloke in a Sisters t-shirt, say hi and point me in the direction of the Torenzicht.

Have to agree with all the above posts, this place sounds bang on. So I'll be making sure at least some of our group call in on the wkend of the 19th - 21st May. We're staying at the Torenzicht, so it'd be rude not to. See you there.

We're staying at Torenzicht on Oude Zidj Achterburgwal, so I'm guessing The Other Place, 222, and Rick's Cafe are looking good bet...
