Re: Your 3 Favourite Coffeeshops
My top 3 change after every trip. Amnesia is far and away my favorite. Never had anything but a fabulous time there. Spirit is next; only have been there the last 2 trips, and it's great day or night. Finally, Bluebird is my new go-to in the morning shop. Central is my #4--I only mention it here bec...

Re: wheres the widow at
Weirdly enough, the WW we got at Baba was really nice back in March. It could be that my expectations were super-low, but damned if it wasn't great stuff!

Re: Birdy (Haarlem)
This is such a great shop. I was never able to locate it during my previous 2 visits to Haarlem, but it looks like 3rd time's the charm. Very friendly budtender--even when you have to buy at the window before entering. She even gave us a couple of Birdy wallets with our order. The Knetter was truly ...

Panama Kush
Had it at Greenhouse Centrum back in March. Wasn't on the menu, but there was a sign at the counter advertising it for 18Euro a gram. "That's ridiculous!" I thought. "Who pays that for weed?? Especially in this town? You'd have to be a total moron to buy that." So, when I got to ...

Re: best buds in harlem
The Knetter at Birdy's back in mid-March was one of the best strains of our trip! And, they gave us a wallet!
Great, great place.

Re: Kashmir Lounge
Thanks for the info - just what I needed in order not to make an fool of myself! Yeah, if they do food of any kind, it definitely would NOT be cool. I do love that place...I am looking forward to going back and spending some major chill time there. I've only ever been there during the day, as I susp...

Re: Kashmir Lounge
Anyone know if it's OK to bring food in here? We were thinking that it'd be fun to go grab some food at Donnerland around the corner (still the best kabob I've ever had) and have it in the lounge. Anyone seen this done?

Re: Kadinsky
I'd look at that situation differently. I'd give the guy a break and maybe stick around and see how it all plays out and then try and talk to the BT to check if everything is ok. BT's are human too (apparently  ) Sounds to me like the guy was involving you for a reason. Maybe he needed to t...

Re: Kadinsky
This was one of my favorite shops, but on my last trip back in 2011, there were some changes. The most concerning was the new budtender, who was acting erratic and weird, having what I assume was an argument with his girlfriend and her parents. Yep, parents. First he was screaming on the phone, and ...

Have a beer - don't get drunk (unless you want of course), but just a little something to take the edge off. Might help.

Looking for a new first shop of the trip...
For the first 3 trips, we always made Central our first stop. It was close to our boat, and we could go, drop our bags off, and head right over there. They'd open "the box", and we could sit and watch Amsterdam go through its morning as we enjoyed our first smoke of the trip. Loved that. T...
