Just wanted to report back, no issues on train. I only had a small amount on me, wrapped multiple times in saran wrap. I know that I probably still stank, I had visited a shop 2 hours before boarding the train. Some guys in civies did come through the train checking passports; they were most interes...

Thanks- I had heard about the coke can thing...I just thought that the 'danger point' would be when you're getting off the train in Germany, not the actual border crossing itself. Hi- I'll be in Amsterdam for 5 days followed by 10 days in Germany. How safe/crazy is it to take a couple of joints and stash them in the luggage for later enjoyment? Any ideas or tips? Hey from lower canada/northern NY

Great site, heading over to Amsterdam in 2 weeks. I was there 22 years ago, but as a soldier, so this will be a different experience.

We're staying by Vondelpark. Looking forward to 5 days of wandering around in a fog w/ my wife prior to meeting our 2 oldest daughters in Germany for more wandering.
