Re: Lightweight
I'm going to Amsterdam in April as my grandma always said she wanted to take me and for us to get high together. Cool Grandma  Just take it slow and easy and you should be fine. Don't load up on alcohol before hitting the coffee shop. If you're smoking a joint take one or two hits and then wa...

Re: Talking with a bud tender..
If one stays with reputable shops, the chance of being ripped-off is minimized. Go to lesser known or unknown shops, you take your chances, but most likely won't get ripped-off. Another reason why first timers and lightweights shouldn't come to Amsterdam/The Netherlands for gear, easy targets of op...

Bill Haley, Little Richard, Chuck Berry, Elvis and even the Beatles got there before Ace, but Rip It Up sounds like a good idea to me!! Go for it!Pierre von Mondragon wrote: as Ace Frehley would say...Rip It Up.

Re: So the Weed pass thing? and your thoughts?
I've seen a very interesting sheet of statistics in regards to tourists and percentage of how many visit coffeeshops. I seem to recall a high percentage of Spanish cannabis tourists, but then they took it a step further and the results showed that while there were the most visits from Spaniards, Am...

Re: Dampkring separated!
Sounds to me like boerejongens are looking towards the potential membership crap... whats that 8000 memberships now between dampkring, tweede, bij and bj.... But if foreign customers are banned and a Dutch citizen can only register at one coffeeshop, then aren't you competing against yourself for a...

RIP Johnny Otis
Johnny Otis, "Willie and the Hand Jive," has passed. He discovered such talent as Etta James producing her first hit, "Roll With Me Henry!" as well as Jackie Wilson, Hank Ballard, and Little Willie John. He was also an influence for Little Richard and covered by Eric Clapton. Any...

Re: Dampkring separated!
I can understand spinning off the Dampkring 2, but Tweede Kamer. It's the first of the chain; the mothership was it were and geographically close to the Dampkring. Are we looking at two sides of a weed pass wager regarding what will happen in 2013? Is someone betting that, at best, only single coffe...

I must be deluded, then?!?! We were slightly buzzed... Then we finished off the Voyagers Silver Bubble and passed out! Maybe you're just slow to react :D The Dutch Dust gets mixed reviews. A lot depends on the batch you get. I liked mine, but others haven't. I've been there in the past and never wa...

Re: Virginia has a good idea.
The southern US is the least likely place for any legalization efforts to produce any real change. Personally I think we'll see some western state like California and/or Colorado make the change to recreational sales before any other states. And when they do... I know where I'll want to live! I wou...
