Don't waste your money on expensive grinders, €6 will buy one of these all over town, and they work far better than more expensive metal ones IMO.

If you can afford it, go for one of these little beauties: Canon Powershot 800 IS: http://tinyurl.com/hhump I have the older non-stabilised model (iXus 700 in UK, different name in US), and I love it. Takes great movies as well as stills. Smaller than a pack of cigarettes, and a nice looker too. Can...

Welcome Steve, Firstly I'd recommend going to Dam LAST. Trust me, if you like to smoke weed, you'll end up stoned for a month in Dam rather than seeing more of our wonderful continent  My top recommendation for a hotel would be the Winston on Warmoestraat - right on the edge of the Red Light Di...

In case anyone hasn't seen them, here's a few snaps taken in De Kuil recently. ALeda brand as you can see. Thanks to the American guy who supplied the paper and half the weed! I think my end was something hawaiian from Nes (it had Aloha written on it?!) and the snake of Bluebird's lovely Malana Crea...

I just got back from staying at the Winston again, both rooms and dorms, and I would say the Winston is WAY nicer. I'll post a pic of the dorm room later. They have wood laminate flooring which is much nicer than grubby carpet. Comfy beds even for a giant like me, and much quieter than the Pig. brea...

I've stayed at both, and would again, but I think the age limit is 35. I forget which is uptown and which is downtown...but the one on Nieuwendijk is much handier for coffeeshops in the centre of town. It's a short walk from Centraal station. The one near Vondel park is nice in the summer and a bit ...

If you're travelling in stealth mode, remember your mobile/cell will have a very different ring tone when used with a European network if your folks happen to ring you when you're there :!:

No, indoors. I germinated a few seeds from my stash box and planted them in a kitchen herb pot, never expecting it to grow so vigorously. My grower mate saw it and offered to finish her off under his lights next time he had a flowering cycle going. Off she went to London and came back a few months l...
