Re: Pride of Amsterdam: city's oldest gay bar celebrates survival
Can anyone explain to me why even someone as dim and trollish as the above poster thinks his Freddy Mercury obsession is of interest to anyone? There must be message boards devoted to the singer that could help out our poor lost lamb.

Probably not in the angels with trumpets sense of the word. But do report back if it is. Assuming you're allowed to return to earth, of course.

Re: Summer Visit
I didn't. But the post was irrelevant, and sounded generically spammish. So I googled a bit of it, and turned up the Trip Advisor post; it's just something a spammer posts to make them look a bit human, before the posts with the commercial links arrive. I report them, but the board seems to give the...

Re: How do ACD members get around??
Everything in the above post is true, so you should take it to heart. HOWEVER: if it's your first time, and you've got a few days, I'd recommend just walking round the central area on your first day, to get a feel for the place. By central I mean the Grachtengordel, the semicircular area with its ou...

Re: 10 Day Hague/AMS Critique my shopping list.
Good black hash tends to be pliable, often almost unworkable in the heat, like Baba's Malana Hash, although the Kashmir that Utopia probably doesn't do any more was just the right texture for me, and could be smoked on its own. Should be fairly tasty and hit like a train, in contrast to (for example...

Re: 10 Day trip plan / Critique my shopping list.
Overkant Hortus had a nice black Asian hash, but that was a while back. As it's not often reviewed, it would be nice to hear what their current offerings are like.
The cheese hash at Resin is recommendable.

I suggest you get in touch with your soulmate, marily21 of Wisconsin. Seven years ago she wrote the same words about Utica. What are the odds, eh? https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowTopic-g36808-i3988-k4230539-Summer_visit-Utica_Illinois.html And yes, I know I shouldn't reply to spammers, but these b...

No, you're not. You're a spammer, as can be seen from your other posts. May your lighters always fail to spark.

Re: What is good in AMS at the moment?
Hope you find what you're after. I rarely search for particular strains, particularly with weed, finding it best to go with what seems attractive at the time, what with batches changing so fast. Besides, you're in the land of legally labelled weed, but no hash. In your shoes (sorry for nicking them)...

The Amnesia Hash was particularly good last time I was in town at the beginning of the month, as I might have guessed from the fact that the person ahead of me got the last of it, and I had to come back later. By contrast the KH from Tweede Kamer hasn't been up to scratch lately, at least when I've ...

Re: First barrel of herring auctioned off for €78,000
I like most fish and seafood. I like raw fish in the form of sushi. When I was invited to try Dutch raw herring, it was by someone who was probably hoping I wouldn't be able to get it down. I did, but I can't say anything in favour of it beyond that. If it comes my way again, I may give it another g...

So it's been two years now, and nobody seems to have much faith in Brexit apart from the hardcore gammon, still waiting for the troop of unicorns to arrive.
Just reread the thread. I miss Spidey.
