As Boner has noted in the past, all of the strains I purchased from The Green Place were underflushed and burned down to jet black ash.

lame, dude!! I always recommend this c/s, sorry to hear you got some bad batches. I have only experienced the black ash with one strain purchased at green place- 'silver bubble'. Little taste or high and yes, hard black ash, very disappointed. i've had og kush, purple kush, trainwreck, jack herer, blue cheese, all have been splendid with no hint of black ash. any memories of sour kush?

@gapie, hope to see you at Ocean on the 20th, will look out for a T&T at Boerejongens definitely. Am in town for 5 nights, 6 whole days more or less, so would be good to meet your crazy self (I mean that in a good way, totally) - liquidswords' and TrichomeDense's words, not mine!

@Titus, simply great reportage man, you have an uncanny eye for life's details (or perhaps just a fat notebook with a lot of pages?), how do you remember it all? This ranks as the best travelogue I've read on this forum, you are a compelling narrator. Sounds like a great trip, very well documented. I appreciate your earlier reply too, BBC and Amnesia flooding the Dam is no bad thing, although I am feening for some of that Sleaze and S5 Haze from Ocean!
