“We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... and also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of Budweiser, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.
Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get locked into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.” – Hunter S Thompson (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas”

That’s what I always feel like on the last day in the Dam. In reality I had a wondrous collection of Buds and Hashes and I had to be on my plane at 7pm.

½ G Silver Bubble, 1 G Dr Grinspoon, 1 ½G Blue Cheese, 2g of King Hassan hash and some Hash from Siberie that was Kush related (Minds a mess so forget the name!).
I start with the remaining Silver bubble. I have mentioned already that I love this stuff, had 2 trips back to get more from the Grey Area on the previous day. I have breakfast in Barneys and I meet up with a couple of English lads I met last year in the Dam, Bob and Happy Dayz Dave, and we proceeded to walk over to a bar (forget the name) there were movie pictures all over the spot and one of the guys said I could easily pass as The Dude from the Great Lebowski.

We had a few tasty beers and then decided to hit Easy Times. Grabbed a nice table by the window and set about smoking the remaining stash I had. Bob bought some SSH which had a nice smell but an average flavour. Got us high though so meh whatever! HDD bought the best hash I’d had of the trip, 24k. It was so tasty, and boy did it get us giggling!!

We started a conversation about the Star Wars prequels and I found myself alone in liking them. I know a lot of you out there hate these films but I love em. Don’t get me wrong I fecking HATE Jar Jar binks and the wooden acting of Anakin but the overall story and effects still capture that piece of Star Wars I’d been missing for many years. I’m so happy that the new movies are even better especially Rogue One, that film is stunning and so well produced!

At this point a mildly drunk German couple came into the shop and sat down next to us. They were too new and confused to speak and order their weed so Bob who can speak fluent German helped them out. They said they were new to weed but had heard about Iceolater Hash and wanted to spend and get the best on the menu. We vouched for them with the BT and ordered them some OG Kush Ice. They bought 2G and proceeded to share with us. This turned into a very funny and awesome experience with the two getting rather smashed and then Bob translating their jokes and conversations. They decided they were too baked and wanted to get back to their room to rest up, I think paranoia was bedding in. We were heading in the same direction as their hotel so offered to escort them there. We walked them back and they thanked us and we wished them well on the rest of their stay.

Time was cracking on and I still had a bit left so decided to finish up in Siberie before I headed off to Central and the flight back home. I grabbed a space cake for the flight from somewhere along the way, forgot where sorry, and sat down in Siberie. I made one final doobie mix of whatever was left and gave the remaining Blue Cheese to the lads as they has a few days left.

Chatting and stuff continued until I had to make a run for the train. I said my goodbyes and hot the road.

Got to the airport and ate the cake before checking through security. Once in the departure lounge I had a burger and some beer and then to my horror realised that I still had the 2g of King Hassan in my jeans pocket, you know the little one everyone keeps their lighter in ;). I thought feck it and the cake was hitting anyway so I just chilled out and went about my business.

No issues at Leeds Bradford airport and into the Taxi home.
Got home got my pipe out had some of the Hassan and had a good night’s kip.
Looking forward to August 20th now as I’ve booked a whole week in heaven.

Peace peeps.
Dev!

I'm glad you had a good time mate and enjoyed your Birthday! It's nice reading a solo report as I've never been solo before. Love the different perspective.

We've all had something like this happen, haven't we? Under normal circumstances, coming across a forgotten gram or two is a joyous experience, one of life's little bonuses. It adds to the sense of icy terror as you realise you're not as clean as you thought you were.

Great read! I enjoyed my solo trip last May. It will be a long time until I can go solo again, so I appreciate your report.

As for finding a stash after you get through security, to my dying day I will swear i have a gram of G13 I brought back last year and hid so well that i cannot now find it. My wife says one day when I'm really old we will find a sealed package of dust and will solve that mystery. Ha.

LOL dude, one can only hope you find it before it looses all potency, might still be good in an edible, but that is prolly the way that will play out...

Dev!
(with apologies to "the dude") your trip report really tied the thread together.

super reporting, and a nice little souvenir once home. i prefer solo trips to mokum, unless you're absolutely sure your travel companions can hang, and not turn ugly if things get "sketchy". please help celebrate my birthday on your aug 20th trip, and write 'er up. cheers
