Trip advice 3-5 december

Post by Arisentme »

I've planned a 3 day trip in Amsterdam this december and i hope to get a couple of suggestions.

1. I want to visit a couple of museums/ sights then a coffee shop and then repeat.
Here is a list of the museums i want to visit:
Torture Museum
Van Gogh Musem
Tropenmuseum
National Maritime Museum
Museum Vrolik
EYE Film Museum
Electric Ladyland Fluorescent Art Museumm
Diamond Museum
Cromhout House / Biblical Museum
The Anne Frank House
Amsterdam Pipe Museum
The Artis Zoo

What good coffee shops can i find in the vicinity of the museums so i can maximize my time there? And what are the must try sativa strains?

Also some recommendations of places to see in the city would be greatly appreciated.

2.Is there any chance to find pre-rolled joints than somewhat lighter ? Most seam to by 0.5 grams, and considering that i will be visiting alone that might be to much for me. i don't really want to wander the streets all f**ed up.

3. I plan to try some magic truffles in the Amsterdam Forest. Are there any better places to do this?

You need to orient your trip to home base. Where are you staying?

Using the Diamond Museum and Van Gogh, you should target either Overtoom or Rookies. The first is closer via Tram; the second brings you closer to the Leidseplein and moving toward Centrum, but it's slightly further. If you want to take the big leap from Museumplein to Centrum, look for Tram 2 or Tram 5 heading North.

The Torture Museum location is much closer to Dam etc. so the range of available coffeeshop options changes and expands. So where is home base?

As for pre-rolled, I would try to talk the budtender into rolling for me some quality outdoor that's fresh. Then I'd take a couple of hits and see where I was. It's easy to add, but hard to subtract.

With only three (3) days, you will need to prioritize. The point being that your target museums are scattered across large sections of Amsterdam so you won't get to all of them!

You will need to prioritize!

Welcome to the forum.

You have been posted on the December Whos In Town page.
Scroll down to your month and click it.

You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.

Enjoy

Based on your pre-roll comment, you're a relative lightweight? So going easy, step-by-step is a good idea! One can always add, but subtracting isn't as easy!

How smoker friendly is ViaAmsterdam?

Smoking at home base is never a bad idea! Especially when you're a relative lightweight and far from home. Hey, who wants to handle the Metro when totally ripped?

Close to home is 2nd best!

Coffeeshop or Smoker Friendly bar nearby? Coffeeshop Roots is kind of close, but really not that close!

Any Smoker Friendly Bars close to home base??
