30th Birthday in The Dam!

Going to Amsterdam with my fiancé for my 30th birthday in August for 4 nights (20th to 24th) but haven't booked accommodation yet. Was hoping to get somewhere nice seeing as it's my 30th, was thinking maybe a houseboat etc. We usually stay in smoking apartments through airbnb. We need to book pretty soon as those dates are filling up quick! If anyone can recommend somewhere they have stayed id really appreciate it! Either apartment/houseboat, smoking is a must! & must be clean! Looking to spend approx £400-500 (€600-700). Thanks in advance.

what about this one they rent out a more expensive and romantic top floor i think they post a link with stunning bathroom / bedroom. smoking aloud anywhere just open window (visited when mate & mrs stayed their and was rather jealous

Managed to get a houseboat on Herengracht, just up from coffeeshop Amnesia! Can hardly wait!! Looks sweet! Nice deck with seating area to get wrecked on!

It's more expensive than I would normally go for, but you only turn 30 once! Always wanted to try a houseboat anyway! Already emailed host & smoking cannabis is ok!

Sweet! Just noticed there's 2 bikes that come with the boat! The girlfriend isn't having any of it lol, but I'm well up for biking over to voyagers every morning for my buy n fly! I agree with her it looks a bit crazy, but it's riding a bike how hard can it be? We'll soon see!
