Hello from deaf english guy
Hello from deaf english guy
Hello Everyone.
I'm very new but I have been a lot of 'dam trips in my youth life. I have lost my count how many times, but I assume maybe 8th trip - start from 2002.
I have booked for the 9th trip on 16th Dec to 19th Dec with my another deaf mate. I was suppose booking The Voyagers but the date not available therefore we decide to go for The Bulldog Hotel because of The Lobby was nice in my last time.
This forum so amazing nothing like others, it has been great learned since I was lurking for a long time, done lot of heavy research on which recommend coffeeshops I should go.
I was worried about the number of closed after my people talks, but after researched there are still a bit lot of them still around but although some are them changed their name or reopened.
However, I'm from London, born deaf. Well, I don't speak well but able to speak simple, we mainly use British Sign Language. But it always a great time on every 'dam trip.
I can't wait. After 4 years no trip.

Welcome to the forum.
You have been posted on the December Whos In Town page. Scroll down to your month and click it.
You can see who else may be in town during your stay.

Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.
Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!
By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.
I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.
You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.
Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
Enjoy
