Greetz! Pleased to meet you all!

My wife and I just fled the crumbling USA  for a comfy pad in West Amsterdam, and looking for music and other excitement.

I'm not having issues finding techno and such but I'm wanting to find trippy musical performances with people playing instruments - or places where such people play as I will be wanting to play my own music here sooner or later.

Also looking for interesting/experimental/edgy musical projects to participate in in 2017!

I had a bagel for a friend once. It was a brief, and I suspect exploitative relationship.

Welcome to ACD Tomswirly. I'm sure when you find your feet you'll soon suss out the music scene in Amsterdam the wider Netherlands and Europe. Lots of Festivals all over the place throughout the year so I cant see you having much difficulty suiting your tastes. :D
What a long strange trip it is.

Dang FOD, that was so funny I spilled coffee laughing out loud in the bus, hope you've moved on to new (but possibly on less exploitative) relationships...:D

@OP: welcome to the forum, these should be plenty of music to be found in Mokum besides the techno, but the Dutch really do love that pounding bass...! ;)
Always know where your towel is! :wtf:
