newbie - as usual, with questions

Post by angmoguy »

hello to all of this forum, happy to have found this information resource and community.

Amsterdam is a long way for me to travel, and has resided on my bucket-list for 20 years. and now I finally get to travel there.

many thanks to the various contributors to the guide, I will use this as my primary resource when visiting, looking for coffeeshops. I seek to try as many as I can.

I have a question, if I lack the ability to roll a joint to any degree of satisfaction, can I take my own pipe, or is this unacceptable ?

A pipe is an acceptable method of consumption.

When you have firm dates, get them to me and i will post you on the Whos In Town page.

Hi, welcome to the site.
You can definitely take your own smoking devices with no problems. Pipes, bongs, vapourisers etc.

Most coffeeshops also sell pre-rolled joints if that's your preferred method of smoking, but I wouldnt really recommend it as you have no real idea of what/how much is in each joint.

Not to be a party pooper but, if you are traveling through International customs, is it advisable to transport a used cannabis pipe?

Pipes of all sorts are also readily available inexpensively in Amsterdam.

to be more specific, "good ol reliable" but not used; ill grab one at the first opportunity when I arrive, also leave it behind when I depart. the country I fly back to, after Amsterdam has draconian laws

You have been posted on the September Whos In Town page.
Scroll down to your month and click it.

You can see who else December be in town during your stay.

If you don't see yourself, click your refresh or reload button
Your browser sometimes loads pages from your local cache and
you don't get the latest update.

Watch for Toke & Talks, I post them up to the last minute.

Set yourself up with your own T&T or Toke and Talk, where you pick the coffeeshop
(your favorite) and the date and time, I will post it and you wait for folks to
show up, if they do you'll have a T&T. If they don't you still get to enjoy your
favorite coffeeshop!

By default I link your posting to your profile page here on ACD.

I can change it to a web link ( myspace, facebook, personal page )
or an email address if you want.

You can do a little practice shopping on the Coffeeshop Menus page.
Any with arrows are less than six months old.

Any nice new menu pictures you can get will be much appreciated.
Always ask first, better told no than thrown out.
