Re: Stand Up Comedy Sketch
Thought I'd resurrect this thread instead of starting a new one and it seemed the most appropriate..
So, to give you a bit of background: I work in stand-up comedy, I’m an agent and manage up-and-coming stand up comics. Prior to that I was effectively an A&R man for comedy. I went to gigs nearly every night of the week, have seen 1,000s of comics and I'm a complete comedy geek . So to give something back to the forum which has given me so much joy, I thought I’d start posting stand-up clips which I think people will enjoy. Some of these might be a bit obscure, some of them will be well known comedy gods, hopefully you will enjoy them.
I’ll start with a shameless plug for one of my own acts…
Here’s Elis James talking about his experience of going Paintballing on a pill comedown, enjoy:

Re: Stand Up Comedy Sketch
Right.. another update for you to enjoy (hopefully)
So another one of my absolute fav's and probably well known to people on this forum..
Doug Stanhope
There was a famous quote from the Indpendent newspaper that sums up Stanhope perfectly for me:
"...there's a kind of Olympic torch of extreme American comedy, which passed from Lenny Bruce, through Richard Pryor and Sam Kinison, among others, to the late Bill Hicks. Doug Stanhope is its latest, and equally brilliant, bearer."
There are 100s of clips online.. here's just 2:

Why this generation sucks:
Enjoy!

Re: Stand Up Comedy Sketch
Just thought I'd pop another into this thread.
Canadian comic Criag Campbell. He lives in UK and is enuinely one of the nicest, most interesting, brilliant people I have ever met. The thing is with Craig is that he is just a natural raconteur.
Enjoy
